We know that women can ejaculate and men can have multiple orgasms, yet few from each gender do during sex. What’s the reason for this? In women, it tends to be because most are unaware of female ejaculation and men and women alike seem to think it’s urine, which certainly kills the mood.
But what about men? Is it the anticipation that having sex = one blow of the load and that’s it?
BLAH: Very interesting answer. However, there are men who are able to do this…so we know that the body can learn to do this just as it can learn to, say, not hoard food for the winter. Why don’t more men take advantage of it?

I’ve learned how to have non-ejaculatory orgasms. I can have an orgasm with no ejaculation, stay hard and continue for another. I can do this many times but it requires a lot of stimulation after the first 3 orgasms, so it’s easy to do during masturbation, but not so easy during intercourse. I have to say, however, that this has taken me several years of practice to perfect.

Your body needs time to actually build up a shot o’ jiizz – especially one that’s "loaded" versus "shooting blanks." If you do have a second orgasm in fairly short order, you can be assured that there’s virtually no useful swimmers in that one. And, given that your body is designed primarily for reproduction and not recreation, it isn’t going to come just because you want it to… it needs a reason. After all, the reason sex feels so good is to get you to do it in order that you’ll reproduce – it wasn’t intended to be solely a recreational activity.

practise makes perfect, but not all men will have multiple orgasms. most men from a young age blow their load and that ends it until next time. some do practise multiple masturbation’s and get good results. so it all depends what you do.

when 95% of men have ‘blown their load’ thats it, it becomes un-erect, and men become totally disinterested in sex, thats what naturally happens, a hormone is then released that makes them sleepy, which is also natural.
very few men would ever choose to continue straight after, most need at least 15 minutes to get going again, even then its no where near as good and not worth the bother.
heck if the 1st orgasm is good enough why would you want a rubbish 2nd one?

Um. The seconds and thirds are actually better for me because it takes longer to climax when the tank has already been emptied out once. Maybe I am one of those few, IDK. I always assumed every other guy comes once and then is eager to use what is in reserve because the sex last longer. A normal trick is to engage in self-gratification before kickoff so that we won’t be so excited during actual coitus and go prematurely.

Most men expel all completed sperm, and the full load of other components of semen, in the first ejaculation; it takes time to replace these materials.
A second orgasm during one encounter is often a dry shot, with little liquid and few, if any viable sperm…from an evolutionary standpoint, its not really worth the calories.

1. Last year, I dated a "Squirter". She blasted a stream into my face once; and on another occasion, I got shot in my chest. It WAS SO COOL! She’s 64 years old. Guys should feel complimented by this, not have the mood kiboshed.
2. Yes, men can multiple. Often they take this talent to the porn film industry. If a lady WANTS the guy to re-erect, he will. She needs to work at it though. But if she’s a typical "I’ll- lay- back- and- let- him- do- all- the- work" woman, then the usual dud is, that he’ll roll over and fall asleep.
You might object to my characterization, but it is from experience. That’s why the common ingredient in male fantasies and porn, is a woman who actually seems to LIKE it, because that is rare in real life. Or are most men just repulsive to women, somehow? Or is it just me?

I disagree with both your statements. I don’t think all men can, nor do I think all women can. I think it’s highly individual!
As far as men are concerned, as a proud cougar I can say that younger men are better able to recover. HOWEVER, men in better shape – that eat right AND exercise – also seem better able to recover at any age AND have skills, whereas some young men are just duds. I also think it has something to do with the sex drive that you are born with. I tend to like the bookish type, and have noticed that their drive is just lower than their more aggressive brothers.
As far as women are concerned, some just tucker out after one, or are too sensitive to keep going, or just have a low sex drive and aren’t interested. Also, with a woman it takes two, and this is where we get screwed (sadly not literally). Most men just have no clue and that is that.
As far as the urine thing goes, ever since Tommy Lee every dude is hot for female ejaculate. Its a turn on. They want to see it happen. It doesn’t seem to click that they might actually have to do with that result though, which is again, sad.
Having said all that, my two best lovers were in their 30s and could pretty much force a happy on me whether I wanted to smile or not, as many times as…. Which really blows a hole in all that "she’s not in the mood" crap, doesn’t it?

As you said, female ejaculation is largely unknown, or misunderstood. It’s much the same for men having multiple orgasms. There is a strong perception that doing it more than once is somehow unusual. I think it depends a lot on the two people involved. How much drive is there on the part of the man for more sex immediately, and how does his partner respond?
Also, as stated if the first orgasm is intense enough, there’s little need for more. So you need to have a balance of intensity and desire. You have to want more, badly enough to get past the current satisfaction. And both parties have to, or the one that’s fully satisfied won’t respond.
